Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.
the gastrognomes is a blog for food lovers who want to put their passions to work. We profile the most interesting, engaging, and unlikely food professionals that we find, and we publish them here to inspire you.
NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY
I am currently exploring how to apply all of my unique skills and experience to a job…..your website and blog stories and general good vibes are supporting me in this process, and I wanted to say thank you for that support...this journey can be very challenging at times.

Deadlines sounds so harsh. We prefer to think of these as 'lifelines' instead, as they are all consciously moving toward experiences that will change your life - or someone else's - for the better.

Applications Due: Friday April 13th
If you're still sorting out your summer plans, we are issuing $9,000 worth of scholarships to three aspiring gastrognomes (one $5k gift, and two $2k gifts) who want to take Sterling College's Vermont's Table program. It's worth a look.
And in meeting our own deadlines, we finally improved the 'Search Anywhere' function on the site. Now if you are looking for jobs that are not tied to a specific geographic location, you can type 'anywhere' in the search bar or hit the radio button that allows you to look only for the jobs that you can do remotely. Give it a try.
Cheers,

Mira Zaki Photography
As a food photographer, Mira holds one of the many good food job titles that we find ourselves envious of, time after time. But for Mira, food is about all of those things, and she pours her passion into every last detail of her photos, as you can see. Read More
Mira honed her artistic skills through continuing education, but that isn't an option for everyone. What dream job could you picture yourself in if building the skill set were free? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
