LOCATION: New York, NY
TIMEFRAME: Winter/Spring 2012
MINIMUM COMMITMENT: Three months, 30 hours/week
COMPENSATION: Unpaid Internship with college credit available. Interns will receive a communal membership at members-only wait-listed workspace General Assembly.

ABOUT
Craft Coffee, a fast-growing start up headquartered at General Assembly is hiring a Marketing Intern to assist our Marketing Director. This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious student or recent graduate to not only learn but also to make a tangible impact on our small and dedicated team.

Craft Coffee sells amazing coffee experiences. We're building a powerful, global brand by reaching into our customers' everyday rituals, and delivering a disruptively amazing experience.

Our first product is a monthly subscription coffee tasting box. We currently ship our tasting boxes to hundreds of paying subscribers all over the world and we're backed by a global, top-tier group of investors, including Dave McClure's 500 Startups.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a highly motivated, tech savvy, PR powerhouse intern to help this fast-growing startup meet its ambitious goals. Our ideal candidate is very reliable, outgoing, detail oriented and self-motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • PR Outreach
  • Assist with Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Google +, etc.
  • Data entry, administrative support and errands
  • No Starbucks runs, here the great coffee comes to you.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent copy-writing skills
  • Extremely Social Media Savvy'
  • Coursework or related experience in Online Marketing
