Company description

The mission of The Good Samaritan Health Center is “spreading Christ’s love through providing quality health care to those in need.” We accomplish this mission through providing comprehensive medical care, dental care, health education, case management and mental health counseling at sliding scale fees for the uninsured and underinsured.

Four years ago, the founder of Good Sam, Dr. Bill Warren, set out to close the health services gap by purchasing a 1-acre plot of land and starting an urban farm. This vegetable production farm provides over 12,000 lbs. of produce per year for residents of our surrounding neighborhood who would not have access to this food otherwise. We sell our Certified Naturally Grown produce at highly subsidized rates and we give food to patients who are enrolled in a weekly food prescription program to help them address their diet related illnesses.

Job description
