Job description

We are looking for a Wholesale Warehouse Manager extraordinaire for our warehouse location in Red Hook, Brooklyn. 

Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with wholesale and mail order customers
- Prepare and dispatch mail order and wholesale orders
- Communication with sales team, Manhattan store and delivery team
- Inventory management
- Cheese care and quality control
- Receiving cheese
- Administrative tasks: generate order sheets, delivery routes, sales reports
- Train and manage delivery team and production assistants 

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of retail/wholesale sales experience in specialty artisan cheese
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, via email, phone or text 
- Proficient in Google docs
- Capable of managing projects independently
- Candidate must be willing and able to do physical labor, as this position entails working on your feet, and lifting and moving heavy objects

Compensation

this position is: salaried, less than 50k
