Imbibe, the award-wining drinks magazine and website, is looking for a full-time Associate Editor to add to its growing editorial team. The Associate Editor will work alongside Imbibe’s existing editorial team and help support and supplement Imbibe’s content for the print magazine, website and social media platforms (@imbibe). We’re looking for a highly motivated, deadline-driven editor with a sharp editing eye and a fun, witty writing style suited to Imbibe’s audience. Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of editing and writing experience, preferably in the realm of food and drink. Responsibilities:
* Help write and edit print and digital articles alongside the existing editorial team.
* Contribute posts to Imbibe’s social media pages in conjunction with existing editorial and marketing team.
* Help strategize about magazine/website content direction and curation.
* Participate in editorial meetings, tastings and recipe testing as needed.
* Attend events on behalf of Imbibe for reporting purposes as needed.

* Ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast-moving, often-changing digital environment.
* Excellent collaboration/communication skills.
* Impeccable attention to detail.
* Strong editing and proofreading skills.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in WordPress and Mac platform.
* Proficiency in AP Style guidelines.
* Understanding of SEO as it relates to website content.
* Must be a team player!
