The Treehouse Nursery and Preschool 
Waldorf - Inspired In-Home School 
Nursery Program: 2 - 3 1/2 year olds 
Preschool Program: 3 1/2 - 5 year olds

As we have an organic vegetarian menu at school, the Kitchen manager is responsible for preparing breakfast, am snack, lunch and pm snack 5 days a week. They also file menu claims with the USDA each day, keep up with the USDA standards, sanitation, grocery shopping within our budget (both weekly and bulk), and manage our Birthday celebrations and collaborate for our Fundraisers. 

We are looking for Substitute / On call cooks whom would work at both schools! 

This entails all the following: 

• Getting calls the day of / day before if a cook is out sick 
• Being scheduled in advance as our Manager(s) may need more focused time in the garden 
• Being scheduled in advance as our  Manager(s) may be on vacation 

Current Needs:

• In June - July 14th we are looking for a Subsitute cook to cook 8-3, Monday and Tuesdays at our Preschool. 
• We may also have a week in August that will available! 

Knowledge of and/or experience in a Waldorf early childhood environment is a huge plus.

$11/ hr

Vegetarian, organic meals throughout the day provided (by you:)

Teachers also get tea, supplements, herbs ect provided to help you stay healthy!

After an interview, qualified applicants will show the ability to foster a healthy meal and working environment through some personality profiling, questionnaires and a working interview.
