We are a successful and well-regarded prepared food shop in Brooklyn that has a unique and close relationship to our community.

Our food is not average. We make everything in house from the baked goods to the charcuterie to the prepared foods. We are looking for a special candidate who can head up our savory foods. Ideally, we would love for your skills to range both sweet and savory, and have knowledge of baking or butchery. In a small place, flexibility is valued.

Understanding a budget is expected, you will work with the GM to order your own produce, proteins, and dry goods.

You will be working daytime hours.

We are currently small, but we have a lot of potential for growth. You will be working with an owner who is looking to encourage you to be yourself. Working within certain parameters, you will design our breakfast, lunch, and prepared foods menu. Plus, once our backyard opens, there will opportunity to do special food events.

This job is suited for:
• The Chef looking to get better hours with a friendly work environment.
• The Sous chef looking to make the jump
• The exceedingly organized line cook with drive

We would like a candidate who knows the skills required for running a kitchen. As a reminder, you should:
