About the Food Business School:
The Food Business School (FBS) is The Culinary Institute of America’s (CIA) new center for executive and graduate education. The Food Business School broadens the CIA’s commitment to the future of food education and leadership by providing cutting-edge, practice-based business education to corporate professionals, recent graduates and mid-career explorers. The mission of the FBS is to enable and empower entrepreneurial leaders to design, deliver, and lead transformative innovations that address the world’s most pressing food challenges—and its greatest business opportunities. The Food Business School is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and calls the CIA’s spectacular Greystone campus in Napa Valley its home.

Overview of the Position:  
The Food Business School seeks an experienced video producer to develop instructional videos from concept to final product. The Producer will develop, direct, shoot, and produce low-budget video content for the FBS. On an ongoing basis, the school will identify new modules to be developed. The Producer is responsible for the end-product and an hire additional contractors as needed for videography, sound, or editing. We are seeking someone who is ideas-driven and resourceful.

This is a contract position, approximately 20 hours per week on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce instructional videos for the Food Business School, from idea to final product
  • Work with faculty and administrators to identify new content
  • Hire contractors to manage videography, sound, or editing as needed

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong experience producing innovative educational programming
  • Background in business communications
  • Experience in online training, educational videos, and instructional content
  • Experience in a resourceful, budget constrained environment producing authentic content
  • Ability to recruit, manage and coordinate others as part of a production team
  • Passion and knowledge of food and entrepreneurship a plus
