Natural Gourmet Institute, a leading New York City culinary school, is looking for an innovative freelance graphic designer to create multi-channel assets for several upcoming marketing campaigns. The Freelance Graphic Designer will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be hired on a project-by-project basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to progressive, intelligent and conscious culinary education.

Pay: Competitive hourly pay - DOE

The Ideal Candidate has:
  • A degree or in-progress studies in Art/Design
  • Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of best practices in digital design, layout, color theory, composition, typography and graphic design
  • Knowledge of brand identity systems and ensures a consistent brand experience across all channels
  • Experience designing effective digital ad campaigns
  • An understanding of design best-practices for various digital media channels
  • Strong communication and visualization skills
  • The drive to take charge of projects - a self-starter
  • A keen attention to detail
  • The ability to be flexible within a fast-paced work environment
