About Us:The mission of Uncommon Good is to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty through programs in education, health, urban farming and the environment.
Position Description:
The Urban Farms Program Manager duties are:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of farmers, volunteers and interns
- Manage inventory, production, marketing and sales
- Gather and analyze cost, production and sales data
- Supervise high school and college interns
- Assist the Executive Director with specific projects
- Serve as liaison for community land and fruit partners
- Manage the distribution of food to the hungry
- Be passionate about creating a local, healthy, just, sustainable food system
- Fluency in Spanish
- Farm program management experience
- Excellent data collection and management skills
- Mature communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with rapid change and growth in the workplace
- Four year college degree
- Salary of $50,000 annually
- Health benefits for self, spouse and children if there is no other source of coverage
