The
Cafédirect Producers' Foundation (CPF) is a young, ambitious charity. We were set up by social enterprise Cafédirect plc and work with 280,000 farmers worldwide to develop innovative solutions to the daily challenges they face. For example, projects like the recently award winning WeFarm. In our programmes across Africa and Latin America, we aim to be innovative, entrepreneurial and participatory in everything we do. This includes our fundraising.
This newly created role is an opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in either non-profit or business to take the lead in delivering our three-year fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on increasing our unrestricted funds through innovative earned income streams.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone who is:

Excited and motivated by the challenge of re-shaping charity fundraising, and delivering ambitious six-figure income targets

Creative, innovative and full of ideas – can you come up with the next Million Dollar Pixel Homepage or One Red Paperclip?

Entrepreneurial, with a can-do approach and willingness to take the initiative and leadership required to make good ideas happen, and ensure they are a success.

Experienced, with a proven track record in raising funds and/or generating income through enterprise, and in managing a team.

A clear and engaging communicator

Passionate about CPF's model and approach.

Willing to try things, fail fast and learn
RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific tasks will include:
-
Strategic development and delivery of CPF's 3-year Fundraising Strategy and Income Targets

Driving innovation in CPF's fundraising by developing, testing and scaling-out successful ideas.

Identifying and engaging people and networks to raise funds in new and creative ways.

Supporting the development of business models and for-profit subsidiary options to raise funds.

Managing CPF's small, but ambitious, fundraising team.

Managing, and growing CPF's fundraising budget to ensure continual re-investment in innovation and prototyping new ideas.
COMPENSATION
What we can offer:

Salary range: £27,500 - £32,500 per annum plus additional benefits package, with full- or part-time working options negotiable for the right candidate.
