Dickson's Farmstand Meats is looking for an energetic, curious and organized person to join our kitchen team as Junior Charcutier & Sausage Maker.

Dickson’s Farmstand is a purveyor of a unique selection of artisanal meat and meat products. Our beef, lamb, pork, goat and poultry are sourced from local farms, hand-picked because of their commitment to producing natural, humanely-raised, high-quality and distinctive meat products. 

Dickson's is an exclusively whole-animal butcher shop, all breaking and retail cutting take place at our Chelsea Market location.  Our charcuterie program is essential to complete the whole animal concept.

This is a fabulous opportunity for a cook looking to expand their knowledge of charcuterie in a fast paced, ideologically driven organization (without restaurant hours!!)

Candidate must have a minimum 2 years cooking experience and a passion to learn the arts of whole animal butchery and charcuterie.  Cooking school a plus, but not essential.  Some experience with charcuterie preferred.

On A Daily Basis Will Produce:
  • Smoked and Fresh Sauasage
  • Pates and Rillettes
  • Stocks
  • Smoked Meats & BBQ
  • Condiments
  • Cures, Rubs and Brines
  • And a wide rasnge of Deli Meats - Bacon, Roast Beef, Ham, Capacolla, Pastrami, Tasso, Salami, Pancetta, guanciale... OH MY!
