Job description
As a Gardener, in this hands on position, you will play a vital role in the ongoing maintenance and beautification of our estate’s gardens. The focus will be primarily our organic vegetable gardens, with a view toward aesthetics. Tilling, planting, harvesting, mulching and the like, all year round. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in all phases of vegetable crop care—from seeding to harvesting—and can also help expertly tend to fruit trees and ornamental plants. Working alongside our landscape team.
We are looking for someone who is skilled and passionate, takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and understands the unique demands of high-end estate landscaping. Along with that, a positive, team-oriented approach, excellent communication skills and a high level of discretion is needed. No housing is provided.
Must have 5 years experience or more. Above $40 DOE
Locals to the Sonoma Valley, CA preferred
You will work under the supervision and collaboration of the General Managers and Landscape Systems Manager.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $30.00 - $40.00
