iEat Green acknowledges the pleasures of the table, and promotes eating as a social experience for families, friends and co-workers. Bhavani Jaroff, founder, chef, caterer and educator, teaches vegan cooking classes at the iEat Green Homestead, or in schools, businesses, or private homes.
Job description
iEat Green's owner, Bhavani Jaroff, is looking for a personal assistant to help in the kitchen with cooking classes and catered events, to assist with a weekly newsletter, as well as a person versed in all social media platforms.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in the kitchen and a passion to learn more about vegan cooking. They must enjoy taking photos and videos, and have experience in editing. Creating content and promoting the work of iEat Green on social media platforms is an integral part of the job.
Bhavani is Chair of her local Slow Food Chapter, and is on the Board of NOFA-NY (the Northeast Organic Farming Association.) Her assistant will help in promoting events for both organizations.

Compensation
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
