Company description
At Home Farm, we are remembering regional, climate-smart seed and food growing practices. We produce diverse grains, organic vegetables and are breeding climate resilient staple crop varieties/populations. We are grateful to be growing on 9 acres of leased land in Clermont, NY and Athens, NY, Mahican & Schaghticoke land.
Our food is distributed through community partners such as the Multicultural BRIDGE, Rock Steady Farm, Berkshire Grown, local restaurants and others, with the majority of our vegetables going to folks lacking regular access to fresh food. We also produce a significant portion of our own seed, which is part of a larger cultural project of Home Farm to re-introduce landrace crops to our area.
