Company description
Georgia Peach Truck delivers the most satisfying fruit truck experience in the whole world! Whether we are on the road along the East Coast or popping up at farmers markets in Atlanta, we bring folks together for the freshest seasonal fruit from our great Peach State.
Job description
Georgia Peach Truck is hiring traveling drivers for 26' refrigerated box trucks and full-sized passenger vans to staff our Summer Road Trip for 2025.
We prefer applicants with a Class A or Class B CDL and pallet jack experience, but non-CDL applicants who can safely drive and maintain a non-CDL 26’ refrigerated box truck or a full-sized passenger van will receive consideration.
As a driver on our Summer Road Trip, you will participate in distributing world famous Georgia peaches and pecans to thousands of customers along the East Coast. Road trip drivers shuttle our products and crew members from one location to another and assist the crew members with setup, fulfillment, and breakdown duties at each location on the schedule. From early June through late July, a typical day on the road includes three stops at outdoor locations, and some weeks will require working six days of scheduled stops plus a seventh day of travel. Approximately eight weeks on the road will be mentally and physically demanding in hot and occasionally wet summer weather. The work can be equally challenging and rewarding, so the ideal applicant will be a team-oriented individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment that varies daily.
These are traveling jobs that begin and end in Atlanta, Georgia, with shared lodging in hotel rooms, which are reserved and paid for by Georgia Peach Truck.
