Welcome to Mimi’s Plate, an intimate space, dedicated to the natural simplicity and goodness of fresh food. An appreciation of organic and locally grown produce and products are the very foundation of Mimi’s Plate.

Owner Mimi Platas—appropriately, “plate” in Spanish—has dedicated over 25 years to learning about all aspects of cooking, focusing on a fresh simple approach to food. Her love of food and industry knowledge have made her a highly in-demand chef, caterer, and manager with clients all over New York.

She has worked for 20 years with customers in the Hamptons, from families looking for a delightful break from cooking, to celebrities throwing high-end parties. Mimi is thrilled to be back in the area where she grew up, inspiring the taste buds of local residents.

Job description

We are looking for front of house staff and manager to work in our retail gourmet shop. Someone who has knowledge of the catering end of the business. Help in taking catering orders.  We offer paid vacation after 10 months of employment.  Overtime is compensated as well. 

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
