Company description
We’re not your average bakery or sandwich shop. At Leftie Lee’s, we blend bold, global flavors with classic European techniques, serving food that’s rooted in tradition but always pushing creative boundaries. Located in the heart of Avondale Estates, GA, our space is vibrant, inclusive, and full of heart — just like the community we’re proud to be part of.
We make almost everything from scratch, from our signature croissants and milk bread pastries to our Korean fried chicken biscuits and globally inspired sandwiches. Every item on our menu tells a story — of heritage, travel, curiosity, and craft. But just as much as we care about the food we serve, we care about how we serve it — with integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
Who We Are
We’re a queer- and woman-owned business built on a foundation of creativity, community, and care. Our team is small but mighty, and we believe that kindness, open communication, and a shared pursuit of quality make the work more meaningful. We don’t just want to be known for making great food (though we do that too) — we want to be known for being a space where people feel seen, respected, and inspired to grow.
Whether you’re rolling dough, working the line, or greeting guests, you’re a vital part of our mission: to nourish people — body, mind, and spirit — through food and connection.
Our Core Values
• Creativity: From the menu to the plating to the way we solve problems — we bring artistry and imagination to everything we do.
• Inclusion & Acceptance: Our kitchen is a space for everyone. We welcome diverse voices, backgrounds, and identities, and we value authenticity over perfection.
• Integrity: We stand behind our food and our actions. That means consistency, honesty, and showing up for each other.
• Cleanliness: Clean, organized spaces are essential for safety, quality, and peace of mind — and we treat them with care.
• Collaboration: No one succeeds alone. We communicate openly, support one another, and believe that the best ideas come from working together.
• Excellence: We take our craft seriously and always aim to do our best — not for awards or recognition, but because our community deserves it.
• Community Building: We’re more than a business. We’re part of a neighborhood, and we actively work to foster belonging through events, partnerships, and daily interactions.
Why Work With Us
If you’re passionate about food, design, and hospitality — and you care about making a difference while making something delicious — you’ll thrive here. We’re looking for people who are hungry to learn, take pride in their work, and bring a collaborative spirit to the table.
Our kitchen is a place where your voice matters, your creativity is encouraged, and your contributions are valued. We’re growing, evolving, and always looking for team members who want to grow with us.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just getting started, if our values resonate with you, we’d love to hear from you.
