Job description

Looking for two people who would be considered Multifaceted, each of whom possesses a Swiss Army Knife of Skills.  Their job would include just about anything that helps make guests comfortable on the farm camp in the summer.  There are elements of farming, ranching, gardening, housekeeping, cooking, serving, cleaning, fixing, building, animal care, laundry and probably much more.  Breakfast is served daily, so prepping, cooking, serving, cleaning.  The gardens are a big part:  prepping, planting, watering, weeding, harvesting (veggies, flowers, fruits), canning, pickle making.  Ice cream is churned once a week... making custard, setting up the churn, turning, assisting children.  Folks cook their own lunch and dinners in camp.  We haul away compost and garbage each evening.  Between sessions, there are cabins to clean, beds to make, bathrooms and showers to clean, camp kitchens to maintain, laundry to be done.  Daily, we keep the central bathrooms cleaned and maintained... the water station filled... the library in decent order.

The job provides each worker a separate cabin for sleeping; a communal kitchen is close by, as are showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities.  Cell service is sketchy to non-existent, but wi-fi is available in the main office.  Each week, 5/7 hour days, 1/5 hour day, 1 day off.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
