We are MVM, an outdoor log grown shiitake mushroom operation based in Amenia, New York, about two hours from the city via car or train.

As a member of our crew, you'll be working as part of a small and fast moving team even when you're working independently.
We strive for consistent quality production and rely on each person to work efficiently, conscientiously, and collaboratively.
We work five days per week in every type of weather from 6:30am to 3:30pm May through November. You'll be harvesting and packing daily as well as performing routine farm maintenance like weeding and cleaning buckets.
We value an eye for detail, great communication, a positive attitude, and endurance, because while we love this work, we appreciate those who can face adversity with us and still have a good time.
Requirements
- Collaboration; great listening and communication skills
- Physical endurance; must be able and willing to consistently lift 60lbs while working outside in every weather
- Conscientiousness; provide consistent quality work and bring attention to problems the first time you notice them
- Farm or garden experience preferred, but happy to train a great candidate
Compensation $18/ hour with farm housing available
