Strategist - Digital Strategy & Restaurant Innovation

As a Strategist, you’ll work directly with clients to design, implement, and optimize digital strategies that drive revenue, efficiency, and guest engagement. You’ll translate insights into action, ensuring that digital adoption isn’t just a concept but a tangible business advantage.

What You'll Do:

• Own client relationships, ensuring strategic alignment, engagement scope, and execution timelines are met.
• Lead project execution, leading and managing Analysts and Associate Strategists to deliver high-impact insights and recommendations.
• Turn data into strategy, leveraging insights to optimize online ordering, loyalty, and digital revenue streams.
• Shape and refine Figure 8’s service offerings, continuously innovating and evolving our digital strategies.
• Identify and seize opportunities for growth, expanding engagements and strengthening client partnerships.
• Deliver high-impact presentations, turning complex data and insights into compelling, actionable recommendations.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring Figure 8 remains a leader in restaurant technology, digital ordering, and automation.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training to help Analysts and Associate Strategists grow into future Strategists.

What You Bring:

• Deep expertise in restaurant digital systems and operations, with the ability to translate that knowledge into strategic recommendations.
• Proven experience leading client engagements, balancing strategic vision with execution.
• Ability to scope and manage projects, including defining objectives, mapping out the critical path, fulfilling deliverables, and achieving success metrics.
• A track record of successfully managing multiple projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in execution.
• Strong leadership in team mentorship, helping Analysts and Associate Strategists develop their strategic skills.
• A strategic mindset with a strong execution focus - you can zoom out to see the big picture but also drive tactical execution.

Your Background:

We’re looking for candidates with 12+ years of experience, including:

• Professional consulting experience in digital transformation, restaurant operations, or strategy.
• Management-level experience in the foodservice or restaurant industry, focusing on operations, digital technology, or guest experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams, driving high-impact projects, and mentoring junior talent.
• Executive-level experience in any industry, with a strong background in strategy and business transformation.
• Bonus: A book of business valued at $300,000

Location:

Hybrid: 2 days per week at our New York City office based out of Neuehouse Madison Square

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
