Southport General Store is located on the Island of Southport, Maine next to Boothbay.  We are the heart of this bustling community and a destination for folks all around to come eat, shop, and visit our beautiful beach.  We are a full service Grocer, Pizza and Sandwich Shop, Bakery, Prepared Foods Venue, Catering Outlet, and Wine and Beer Shop.  We host numerous community events, our School Garden Program, work with and support local vendors and farmers, and care for our community through nourishment.  

Job description

Lead Baker - Lead a small team(2-4 culinary interns) in our bakery and pastry department to produce cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, pies, muffins, and other novelty items to supply our store and fulfill our bakery orders.

Work with our Chef and Managers to make sure standards and work orders are upheld and executed.
