Little Sesame Summer of Hummus Travel Ambassador
Are you passionate about food, travel, and creating engaging content? Do you love the camper lifestyle, meeting new people and capturing exciting moments on camera? Little Sesame is seeking a dynamic, creative and outgoing individual to join our epic summer adventure as the face of our brand, driving across the U.S. in our iconic VW van, sampling hummus, and creating excitement around Little Sesame’s trip of a lifetime.
THE JOB:
We’re hitting the road this summer in our iconic VW van, spreading sunny vibes and delicious hummus across the U.S! As the face of our brand, you’ll be driving our VW van across the U.S., hosting sampling events, farm dinners, and demos at Whole Foods Market locations and other exciting venues. RESPONSIBILITIES:
DRIVING & TRANSPORTATION:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (Our clean driving record specifications outlined by our insurance policy are as follows:
Safe driver: Proven track record of operating a vehicle safely, comfort operating a vehicle in a professional capacity, no major moving violations, no moving violations or accidents over the last 5 years). This is required to drive our company vehicles.
Safely drive the branded VW van across major US cities (Portland, Boston, NYC, Philly, Raleigh, Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle).
Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and stocked with products and promotional materials.
SAMPLING EVENTS:
Set up and break down demo stations at each location, ensuring a polished and engaging presentation.
Execute sampling events, providing exceptional customer interactions to promote our brand.
Act as a brand ambassador, sharing product knowledge and brand values with customers.
COORDINATION & REPORTING:
Maintain communication with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure product and collateral is available at all events
Track event attendance, product samples distributed, and customer feedback.
CONTENT CREATION:
Capture social media content (photos, videos, stories) at each event, showcasing the fun and energy of the trip.
Create engaging, shareable posts that highlight the Little Sesame brand and our hummus, inspiring excitement and interaction.
Document the adventure of living on the road, including behind-the-scenes moments, scenic stops, and customer reactions.
Help build buzz around our trip, increasing social media followers and engagement along the way.
WHO YOU ARE:
A detail-oriented person that is always on-time and highly organized with the ability to handle travel logistics seamlessly.
Loves to live that camper van lifestyle
Independent: you check in frequently but really thrive when you’re on your own.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., product cases, equipment), properly store equipment between activations, and be responsible for keeping supplies and company assets in perfect condition.
Someone that loves talking about all things food with strangers.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing to travel extensively for 3 months.
Organized and proactive, with the ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly.
Experienced in customer service, brand promotion, or event coordination is preferred.
Desire to be a part of a small, scrappy, and delicious food startup with lofty goals.
HOURS & COMPENSATION:
Competitive compensation for this role. The schedule will approximately follow a structure of 20 days on, 10 days off per month.
