We are a Brooklyn food Co-op serving the communities of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, and beyond.
We are a working Co-op — all member-owners contribute at least 2.5 hours of work every four weeks either through in-store shifts or remote committees.

Job description
Greene Hill Food Co-op is looking for a temporary part time clerk from February 11-March 13.
This position would be responsible for:
- Keeping store operations running smoothly
- Keeping the store stocked, orderly and clean
- Delegate tasks to member-owners from an established task sheet.
- Cashiering
- Assist our shift coordination team with coordinating workers
- Help maintain the Humanity Scheduling System
- Close the store
- Receive, quality check and stock deliveries
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in retail or grocery
- Familiarity with shift planning software or basic computer literacy
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs on a regular basis
- Be reliable, trustworthy and hard working
