Job description
The Role:
As the Bakery Retail Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the daily operations of our shop. You’ll lead our team to provide exceptional service, ensure our products are displayed beautifully, and maintain a positive, efficient, and organized store environment. You’ll also play a key role in managing inventory, cash handling, and fostering a team that reflects our values of hospitality, generosity, and quality.
Expectations:
- Lead and inspire our team, ensuring they provide top-notch customer service
- Oversee day-to-day store operations and create a welcoming, clean space for both staff and customers
- Help maintain the quality of our products and promote them effectively to our customers
- Manage inventory, ordering, and other key operational tasks
- Communicate clearly and positively with staff, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day
- Handle financial tasks like cash management and forecasting, using tools like Square, Slack, and Google Apps
- Work closely with our team to build a culture of sustainability and community engagement

- A proven leader with experience in hospitality or food service
- Someone who is passionate about customer service and community
- A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who is organized, approachable, and committed to high standards
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, stay on your feet for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50lbs
