About Us:
At Bookhouse Catering, we specialize in crafting exceptional culinary experiences, and at Foreland, we create unforgettable event moments. We pride ourselves on offering top-tier service, and we are currently seeking experienced, friendly, and reliable bartenders to join our seasonal team!
Position Overview:
As an Event Bartender for Bookhouse Catering and Foreland, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent service at various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. You will be working alongside third-party food catering teams to ensure a smooth and professional bar experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area during events.
Adhere to all legal and safety regulations regarding alcohol service.
Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
Work with the catering team to support the overall event, including assisting with setup/tear-down as needed.
Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure bar area is stocked and organized.
Requirements:
Proven bartending experience (wedding/event experience is a plus).
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
TIPS or similar alcohol service certification preferred.
Reliable transportation to event locations (local events only).
Must be available for shifts from March to November (flexible, but must be available for a majority of events).
Compensation:
$35 per hour.
Tips are not required by clients but are appreciated.
Ongoing opportunities to work throughout the season (March-November).
