Seasonal Sales Representative (Farmers Helping Farmers)

The Role
We’re looking for passionate farmers to join Tend as Seasonal Sales Representatives. In this role, you’ll reconnect with farmers, helping them understand how Tend can transform their operations. By sharing your farming expertise and knowledge of Tend, you’ll guide farmers through their journey from free accounts to paid subscriptions. While this is a part-time, seasonal role, there is potential for it to grow into a year-round or full-time position based on performance and interest.
Key Responsibilities
-Outreach and Engagement
Connect with farmers to introduce Tend, sharing its value and benefits.
-Trial Support
Guide new users through their trial, ensuring they understand the platform’s features.
-Conversions
Help farmers transition from free accounts to paid plans by aligning Tend’s features with their needs.
-Retention Efforts
Re-engage farmers considering cancellation by addressing concerns and highlighting Tend’s benefits.
-Collaboration
Work with Tend’s sales and support teams to share feedback and improve the customer experience.
Qualifications
-Farming Expertise: You’re an active farmer who understands Tend and its benefits.
-Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and explain concepts clearly.
-Tech Savvy: Confident navigating Tend’s platform and familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus).
-Customer-Centric: Passionate about helping farmers improve their operations.
-Availability: Flexible part-time hours during your off-season (approx. 20 hours/week).
Compensation and Benefits
-$25/hour plus commissions based on customer conversions.
-Free access to Tend Ultimate (valued at $1,800/year).
