Our subscription service is currently offered in the New York and San Francisco Bay Area regions.
Job description
If selected, you’ll be brought on to cook for our weekly meal plan service where customers subscribe to meals delivered to their door each week offering a more steady & consistent income. The service is available for 4 days of the week, but there is flexibility to pick the days you’d like to participate.
Compensation is based on number of dishes/orders sold. Shef’s culinary specialist works closely with you to strategize on menu planning & pricing in order to be successful in front of customers viewing the service.
You have
- 1+ years of catering, private chef, or professional kitchen experience
- Culinary School degree and/or experience in restaurant kitchens
- Your food handler's or food manager's certificate (or are willing to obtain one)
You are
- A talented & skilled chef
- Passionate about your craft & creating high quality meals
- Precise with food safety measures & cleanliness
- Comfortable & excited about preparing dishes within the following cuisines: Mediterranean, Italian, American, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Thai
- Interested in running your own business (or already do)

Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $75.00
