The windjammer Angelique is looking for an experienced chef to work aboard this season. Must have good people and organizational skills, be a team player and like challenges.  A passion for cooking, sailing, fun, and a sense of adventure is a must. The Chef plans, shops and executes the menu with two assistants, working in a very tight, but efficient galley. Meals are served family style on deck or below in our dining area. Sailing experience is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is a must! You will be a member of our crew and help sail and operate the vessel in addition to galley responsibilities. Room and board included with salary, plus generous tips weekly. This is a live aboard position with a busy schedule!  Best view from any kitchen or galley in New England! This is not your everyday "job",  we offer 4,5, & 6 night cruises along the beautiful Maine coast. Angelique can accommodate 29 guests and sails with a crew of 6 (3 on deck, 3 in the galley)  We are presently accepting resumes and interviewing for the chef position. Job starts April 1st and runs until October 2nd. Applicant must have valid drivers license (because driving to source food between trips is a component of the job duties) and pass a DOT drug test (this is federally required). 

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
