Job Requirements:

Full-Time April-November, 30- 40 hrs per week
Part-Time April-November, 25-35 hrs per week
*Must be available weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday market shifts)

*Hours listed above are standard but not guaranteed in the beginning/end of the season. 

 

Daily Schedule
Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday (approximately 8 hours a day for the duration of the main season between May and November including an unpaid hour for lunch during farm work days). Start and end times may shift/vary depending on weather and season change. 

Over the course of the season, you will get opportunities to see everything from seed to sale including field prepping, seeding, transplanting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, post-harvest handling, storing, transporting, and marketing. Crew members will learn by doing, and are expected to work at a good pace in all weather conditions alongside the farm crew. This position is perfect for people who want to get into organic vegetable farming and connect with the local community. Individuals must be able to lift 50#. 

We are mainly seeking enthusiastic and reliable farmers market sales associates with availability Saturdays from 7AM - 2pm  and/or Sundays 6:30am-3pm to help operate our Farmers Market booth.  

You will be selling our certified organic produce, making transactions on a POS system and engaging with customers.  At the end of the day, you will pack up the tent and supplies.  Training will take place on site. Trailering ability is preferred but not required.   

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $18.00
