The Waterford Inne is home to a diversified farm utilizing regenerative and organic systems, we grow unique varieties of vegetables, fruit and herbs, cultivate mushrooms, have laying hens and are continually expanding our growing and livestock operations. Menus are composed of entirely local and seasonal ingredients, utilizing all that we grow here, and sourcing milk, grass-fed proteins, gourmet mushrooms, and produce from hyper local regenerative farms, primarily within 15 miles. An extensive part of our culinary program is preserving the bountiful growing season through traditional methods of fermentation. Our tasting menu is hosted on seasonally in a turn of the century post and beam barn, along with more casual bar nights, and a variety of events, workshops and community based gatherings. The 1826 farmhouse consists of eight unique guest rooms, where travelers stay to immerse themselves in the full experience, including breakfast in the morning. We can now offer seasonal housing options.
Job description
We are looking to expand our very small kitchen team for 2025. The ideal candidate has a love for hospitality in all aspects. We are looking for individuals that take dedication and pride in the land, ingredients, and the inner workings of facilitating unparalleled experiences for our guests. This includes working in tandem with our small inne team to make this magical place come to life.

About our Service:
- Local and homegrown vegetables, maine seafood and some local meats and birds are the focus of the cuisine.
- A preservation program captures the bounty of our fresh produce in creative ways: i.e. pickled huskcherries, fig leaf vinegar, fermented hot sauce, lacto-fruits, jams, misos, garums, kombucha, fruit-vinegars, and more
- Intimate tasting menus (6-10 courses), more casual bar nights with special menus and occasionally bingo, live music or other fun events
- We cultivate and gather many of our ingredients from the lush forests and thriving seacoast of Maine. This is a labor of love and if your creativity blooms from being around these practices, this is the place for you.
- Breakfast is served to guests everyday and are looking for assistance in this position as well. We create seasonal vibrant, sustainably sourced, home grown, creative breakfasts for the guests in our eight rooms.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a professional kitchen environment is highly recommended. 2-5 years
Hourly: $17-22 based on experience, plus pooled tips
Seasonal: May - October
Wednesday - Sunday
