Job description

Everyday duties include:

•  Selling wine, drawing on knowledge of wine in general and our assortment specifically.
• Providing excellent customer service, including being helpful and friendly, as well as providing recommendations.
• Transactional elements of retail sales, including handling cash and credit transactions
• Restocking, making sure everything is labeled properly
• Managing online orders and deliveries

Skills Needed/Preferred:

• Friendly, cheerful, and outgoing
• Exceptional customer service background or Skills
• At minimum, a strong interest or passion for wine and spirits and the curiosity to learn
• Ideally, restaurant experience with wine training
• Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40-50lbs

This is a part-time position with 2-4 shifts available a week, approximately 12-25 hours. Specifically Wednesdays-Saturdays (morning and evening shifts) with opportunities to pick up shifts as people take time off.

Starting pay is $17 hourly with opportunities for increase after time and proof of commitment with employee discounts available. Must be available on weekends and holidays. Must be 21 or older.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
