Dock to Dish https://docktodish.com is seeking a Sales Representative to expand our client base throughout the many restaurants, country clubs, corporate cafeterias and more through the New York Metropolitan area and beyond. 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for making initial contact with prospective clients to uncover their needs for fresh Seafood products
Build a pipeline of prospects and widen the contact base in each Provider account.
Leverage relationships and work closely with chef's, restaurant owners, and more
Will be responsible for working a complete sales cycle from initial prospect identification and qualification to closing the deal.
Will be responsible to assist in development of marketing department
Qualifications :

2-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry is a must.
Culinary and seafood background a plus
A love of fishing and deep knowledge of local marine species is preferred
Experience generating business from new accounts.
Established relationships within the food service industry a big plus.
Proven new business development track record with direct client relationships. A true "hunter"
Must have experience cold calling, networking, implementing and executing strategic sales plans.
Proven selling and persuasion skills
Exceptional ability to comfortably speak with and present to prospective clients at all levels of an organization
This is a hybrid position, in which you will need to visit the clients from time to time.

Salary Details:

•  40k base salary + Commission
• Dock to Dish will be assigning house accounts as well as providing introductions to qualified leads to ensure candidates achieve NYC's minimum salary threshold. It is our expectation that commission earnings will quickly surpass salary earnings for the right motivated candidate.
   

Compensation
