Company description
Titusville Farm is a 170+ acre property located on the border of Poughkeepsie and Lagrange. It was established by the Cornell Family in 1788 and has a long agricultural history. Today it is being revitalized into an agricultural community that will include a farm market, cafe, and hard-cidery all on-site. The farm will focus on producing diversified organic vegetables and fruits, pasture raised eggs, cider apples, and flowers on 40 acres.
Titusville Farm started its first year of production in 2022 with a small offering of vegetables, cut flowers, and eggs. For 2023, we scaled those three enterprises up: 6 acres of vegetables, ½ acre of flowers, and two more layer flocks. In 2024, we scaled up our vegetable production to include 8 180’ long high tunnels for indoor and winter growing and 11 outdoor acres. In 2025, we are planning to open an on-farm market stand and sell at 4 farmers markets in the area. Within the next five years, we plan to grow and develop our systems to reach the goals described above.
