Job description

$1000 hiring bonus available after 90 days of employment

Are you looking for an engaging, physical job, with a dynamic team of colleagues? Our staff enjoy a job with daily community interaction, providing our community with healthy, local food options. Our regularly scheduled Staff are trained to work in one department with a set weekly schedule.

We have both part-time and full-time positions open with pay starting at $17 per hour. Benefits package includes group medical insurance (30+ hours/week), 3+ weeks paid time off, 20% store discount, optional vision and dental, profit sharing bonus, paid parental leave, life insurance (30+ hours/week), 401k, and more.

Bulk

Eager to work with bulk essentials and local cheese products? Our Bulk department subs will work with our team to ensure that our coolers and bulk bins are well-stocked. This position involves physical work with regular lifting of 50 lb items.

Grocery

Our Grocery staff is thrilled about a job that involves physical, detailed-oriented work. This department maintains inventory on shelves and in freezers, and works closely with customers to make sure they can find what they need.

Store Assistant (Cashier)

We are looking for staff who thrive on providing excellent customer service and enjoy fast paced, physical work. Store Assistants provide friendly and accurate service to our customers as they complete their shopping experience. This department may send staff to help in other departments during quiet store hours.

Deli

Do you love building relationships with your community while serving up freshly-made, high-quality, healthy foods? Our Deli Staff ensure that our customers can count on having an excellent Co-op experience.

We are looking for a qualified kitchen professional with a passion for high quality food and exceptional customer service. Job duties include preparing our Co-op recipes, merchandising, stocking product, and answering customer questions.

Produce

This department offers a chance to get to know local farmers and producers, and work with high-quality fruits and vegetables. If you're interested in learning more about the path of local products from vendor to plate, this job might be for you! This position involves exceptional customer service skills and physical work with regular lifting of 60 lbs.

 

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
