Job description

Responsibilities:

The candidate's main responsibilities are to tend to the farm's poultry raised in both barns and on pasture. This includes but is not limited to:

-Feeding and watering.

-Moving poultry to and on pastures. 

-Cleaning and bedding barns.

-Collecting and recording data when necessary.  

-Assisting elsewhere as needed.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Working with livestock

Equipment operation (tractors, skid steers, trucks and trailers)

Strong attention to detail

Requirements:

Work comfortably with livestock

Lift 50 pounds repeatedly

Work in adverse weather conditions

Work easily with others

Maintain a positive attitude 

Flexibility with a fast-paced environment

Travel between multiple sites when needed (valid driver's license required)

Other Information

40 hours per week

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $18.00 - $22.00
