We provide quality local goods sold by local people including seasonal fruits and vegetables, plant starts, cut flowers, seafood, fresh and cured meats, baked goods, wine, eight distinct restaurants, and many unique and artisanal goods! 

Job description

We are seeking an Outreach Coordinator that shares our passion for farmers markets, small scale local agriculture, access to healthy foods, and community enrichment. We look forward to hiring an individual that is personable and enthusiastic about promoting the Market to the community. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively and develop meaningful relationships with vendors, staff, community partners and shoppers.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required, some college preferred

Experience managing events and creating marketing content

Ability to communicate diplomatically with vendors and the public

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Team-oriented and self-motivated

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $25.00 - $30.00
