Role Overview:
Fearless Farmers seeks a creative, mission-driven, and detail-oriented Content Marketing Specialist for a two-month contract position. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level professional passionate about the environment, making change, education, and storytelling. The specialist will focus on creating evergreen blog content, social media materials, and posts for events and core courses, working closely with the marketing manager to align with our mission and voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blog Content Creation
    • Research, write, and edit 6 evergreen blog posts (~1000-1500 words each) on topics such as regenerative agriculture, eco-literacy, personal and community development, and sustainable food systems.
    • Ensure blog content supports and informs social media messaging.
  • Social Media Content Creation
    • Develop 30–40 social media posts (infographics, reels, carousels, etc.), including captions and visuals for our three platforms - Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
    • Collaborate with the marketing manager to create a content calendar that includes posts referencing blog content, promoting events, and core programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content marketing, copywriting, or social media management.
  • Strong understanding of regenerative agriculture, holistic management, or eco-literacy concepts (or an eagerness to learn).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a knack for authentic, thoughtful storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with blog platforms and SEO best practices.
  • Background in environment, education, or non-profit organizations.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $25.00 - $50.00
