Job description
The Role: Green City Growers seeks a positive, driven individual to help support our Business Development team in marketing and lead generation efforts. You will be an integral part of the optimization and consistency of marketing collateral, written and visual content, and customer communications to strengthen and increase awareness about Green City Growers. This is a highly dynamic role that will require you to produce creative
assets, support a wide-range of marketing initiatives, and support sales through efficient lead generation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hands-on team in a quickly growing company that is dedicated to developing sustainable onsite food production systems.
● Sales & Business Development:
o Support the continued growth and expansion of GCG’s operations.
o Generate leads for our products and services from initial lead generation to customer meeting scheduling.
o Manage prospective client data, task/activities and information and keep up to date CRM system.
o Attend internal & external sales meetings, support sales calls, and assist in coordination of meetings with prospective clients.
● Marketing:
o Develop and refine sales and marketing collateral, presentations, and customer communications.
o Support all communication channels, including website updates and outbound campaigns.
o Deliver and oversee signage and other marketing materials for events and client interactions.
o Create a social media content calendar to engage target audiences.
o Maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials and manage vendor relationships.
o Perform website maintenance and improvements to enhance user experience, SEO performance, and brand consistency.
o Ensure consistent branding across all public-facing materials, including displays and promotional items.
o Contribute innovative ideas to support marketing strategy and branding goals.
o Publish high-quality blog posts and press releases to reinforce thought leadership and brand credibility.
o Perform administrative tasks to support marketing operations and overall team efficiency.
● Research and Data:
o Research and monitor publications, events ,conferences, speaking opportunities, and RFP’s. Research market opportunities and trends.
o Facilitate lead generation, customer profiling and research new markets. Identify potential vendors and suppliers.

● MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,) Google Suite, Adobe Suite, CRM (any variety) experience, data management, research, Canva
● Marketing experience preferred
● Strong attention to detail in design and brand consistency
● Interest in urban agriculture, organic farming, sustainability, urban planning
● Driver's license required to fulfill job duties

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree with one - two years of related experience preferred.
Communication Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in all circumstances, including over the phone, email and in person. Must have strong written, verbal interpersonal and cross-cultural skills to communicate and work with employees, team-members, supervisor, management, and other external stakeholders.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of MS Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Suite, Canva, and CRM database software and be proficient in Internet software.
Other Skills and Abilities: Promote a positive Company image and must understand overall department and company priorities. Must be a team player with a can-do attitude and be goal driven and work well with minimal supervision, take initiative, be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency and be process driven. Must prioritize
workload, track and follow-up with pending matters.
