The Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming is a non-profit organization serving food and farming changemakers from New York’s Hudson Valley and beyond. Our mission is to cultivate just and resilient regional food systems so that communities, farmers and the land thrive.  

We advance local food production here in our region, as well as educate a national audience about efforts to regionalize food and agriculture. Internship description

Glynwood Vegetable Apprenticeship

Glynwood’s Advanced Vegetable Apprenticeship Program is designed for those who are eager to pursue a career growing vegetables and have already experienced 1-3 seasons of farm-scale vegetable production. Apprentices will have the opportunity to gain a solid foundation in all the skills necessary to manage a small-scale commercial organic vegetable operation. This position is compensated at $15.50/hr and includes housing. All apprentices are participants in Glynwood’s Hudson Valley Apprenticeship program.
