Boulder Food Rescue is a just in time food rescue working to limit food waste and increase food access in Boulder County. We do this by taking food that would be wasted from grocery stores, restaurants, and other retail locations, and taking it to communities that require more food access. We do most of this by bike! We operate through a decentralized system that allows us to have communities organize their own food distribution, and we are able to bypass many of the barriers that exist in more traditional food assistance programs.
