Position: Chef/Operations Manager

About Us: We are a growing fast-casual Mexican restaurant dedicated to bringing fresh, authentic flavors to our customers. We pride ourselves on quality ingredients, efficient service, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chef/Operations Manager to lead our kitchen operations and help put the right systems in place to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability. This role is a blend of culinary expertise and operational management, perfect for a professional with a deep understanding of food preparation, team management, and growth strategies.

Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence: Develop and implement kitchen systems that ensure consistent food quality, inventory control, cost management, and streamlined workflows.
Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and lead a team of cooks, prep staff, and kitchen crew, setting high standards for culinary skills and customer satisfaction.
Menu Development: Collaborate on innovative, LTO'S offerings that reflect our brand and meets customer preferences, ensuring cost-effective ingredient sourcing and preparation methods.

Quality Control:

 Maintain a high standard for food safety, portion control, and presentation in line with our brand standards.
Cost and Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, manage supplier relationships, and control costs to maximize profitability without compromising on quality.
Growth Mindset: Contribute to strategies for future expansion and scalable processes, identifying areas for improvement in service, speed, and overall customer experience.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef with operations management experience in a fast-casual or similar restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and passion for food innovation.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of team-building and training.
Familiarity with cost management, inventory, and ordering systems.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, growing environment with a hands-on approach.
