Morgan Atelier is looking for a talented pastry chef for a bespoke Bakery/ Gallery located on North Haven, an Island 13 miles off the coast of Rockland, Maine.

This is a close knit, creative community tied to fishing and a rustic way of life. With a year round population of 350 which blossoms to 1300 in the summer. Business is brisk in July in August.

Job description

Self creation of morning pastries for hungry audience of early risers meeting the morning ferry next door. You are fully in charge of the production of all goods, prep, bake-off and clean up. You must know your quantities and ingredients for orders of off island delivery in a timely manner. 

Everything should be Superior quality and excellence. Expectations are high!

 Applicant should have a minimum of five years experience Confident and personable, able to greet customers in a welcoming manner. 
 

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $25.00 - $35.00
