Job description
We are looking for a rock star Manager to manage our Long Island City Location. You will be staffed with a part time Managers Associate and a full time Kitchen Lead. Our ideal is someone who understands hospitality and has managed a restaurant and or like coffee business with food. It would be great if you spoke Spanish. You must have a good working knowledge of coffee, and a palate, you will be expected to taste and quality control drinks (after further training if required) and food offerings. This is an on bar role and you will receive tips.
Your Key Objectives are:
* HR for the store employees
* Hire and manage all employees so that they are happy, safe and are continually performing at their best
* Manage the schedule for optimization and labor costs
* Educate and inspire staff ensuring amazing customer service and quality coffee (NOTE: you do not have to be a coffee professional just a love and understanding is enough, we can train you)
* Drive sales for growth
* Ensure customer service and quality coffee
* Manage inventory and offerings
* Work with key stakeholders including Landlord
* Manage the maintenance and smooth running of the facility including utilities, security, trash
* Control store services and COG's
* DOH inspections (you must have your card or can get it)
You need great project management skills, the ability to start and finish a project, excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to juggle multiple issues at once. A good working knowledge of Square, and Door Dash a bonus.
Schedule is Sunday to Thursday.

You need the ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours, lift up to 30lbs and be able to climb stairs and ladders, including the ability to hear audible cues.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
