Babette's Kitchen is dedicated to using local seasonal ingredients. Over the years we have built relationships with local farmers who supply us with the best produce the Hudson Valley has to offer. Our convenient dinners to go are always changing with the season. Pair seasonal salads, pastas and other side dishes with entrees like grilled salmon, spaghetti squash bake, roasted sirloin of beef, and turkey meatloaf. We also offer a variety of foods to accommodate special dietary needs such as wheat free, low carb, low sugar, and vegan options.
Breakfast items, baked fresh daily include muffins, scones, croissants, sticky buns and buttermilk biscuits. Lunches consist of soups, sandwiches, salads, specialty sandwiches and quesadillas all made in house. Fresh fruit pies, cakes and puddings make dessert easy and special. We are also a full service bakery, providing custom cakes and cookies for any holiday and occasion.

Are you a passionate and skilled baker with a love for creating delicious bread, pastries, and other baked goods? We're seeking a talented Head Baker to join our dynamic team at Babette's Kitchen. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our baking operations, ensuring the highest quality products and a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Baking Production: Lead and manage a team of bakers to produce a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other specialty items.
Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure efficient operations.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and innovative baked goods that align with our brand and customer preferences.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all baking equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Baker or a similar supervisory role in a bakery or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Passion for baking and a commitment to quality.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
