Are you passionate about local foods and community engagement? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment while leading a motivated team? If so, we'd love for you to become our next Grocery Assistant Manager! Our Grocery team includes our center store items, dairy, meat, frozen, beer/wine, and wellness. This role involves supervising and motivating a dynamic team of staff in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You'll Do:
Inspire and Lead: Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a professional yet fun work environment.
Curate Exciting Products: Help create a dynamic product mix by analyzing trends and product movement.
Keep Shelves Stocked: Manage inventory with strategic ordering and regular audits, supervise Grocery coordinators.
Achieve Financial Goals: Collaborate on pricing strategies and vendor negotiations to meet sales targets.
Deliver Excellent Service: Actively support staff training, hiring, and evaluations while ensuring top-notch customer service.
What We're Looking For:
Retail Experience: Ideally in grocery or natural foods.
Leadership Skills: Proven success in managing teams.
Customer Focus: Commitment to high-quality service and product knowledge.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
