Job description
As Kitchen Manager/Pitmaster, you will own our processes for our smokers and become the production guru in our facility. This includes training on internal processes to become our pitmaster, as well as all of our internal processes as a USDA inspected facility. Maintain our extremely high standards for quality, cleanliness and efficiency. If you like the strategy of production efficiency, this is the place for you. Supervise a growing team of permanent employees- likely a team of 2-4 per shift. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, experience with food fired smokers or other wood fired ovens (pizza ovens), bilingual is a big plus, and food manufacturing experience is also desirable. This position will report to the General Manager and the owner. TBD on the hours- it could be early mornings or and afternoon/evening shift. At the moment we don't work weekends or holidays but that is subject to change if the business demands it. The specific location of our Facility is at PREP Atlanta in the Doraville area.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
