Join our stock and delivery team at Greene Grape! We are looking for a responsible individual to assist with delivery, stocking, and receiving at Greene Grape Wine & Spirits in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. This is a part-time position (10-20 hours) that has the potential to expand with the needs of the store and a great opportunity to learn about wine.

Our ideal candidate:

1. Has a current driving license with a record of safe driving dating back at least 2 years and no open tickets
2. Experience driving a commercial van and a motorized scooter safely
3. Must be able to lift and transport 30 – 40lbs
4. Has an interest in wine and spirits
4. Is punctual, self-directed, and a good communicator
5. Has evening, weekend, and holiday availability
6. Is authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for keeping all shelves and back-stock full and organized
• Communicates with Stock & Delivery Team, Sales Associates and managers to perform deliveries of Wine & Spirits, Provisions, and Catering orders on foot, motorbike, or in company vehicles as directed
• Provide excellent customer service by executing deliveries in a friendly, hospitable, and efficient manner
• Assists with receiving incoming deliveries of product and counting inventory as needed
• Breakdown of cardboard boxes on a daily basis and taking out trash twice a week
• Clean bathroom and sales floor twice weekly or as directed.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and counting, as necessary
• Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, and maintain shelving areas and displays as directed

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $16.00 - $18.00
