Hours: 15-20 hours a week
Days and hours are quite flexible. We are looking for someone about 3-4 days a week, spaced throughout the week.We do not have a dishwasher in our small commercial kitchen, so dishes need to be done by hand.
Depending on how our events and business falls, custodian can certainly come in to clean before or after hours, or if there is a lot of additional prep that week, daytime hours may be needed.
Requirements:
Has cleaning experience in a commercial setting
Keep clean all of store, front and back of house
Lives close by or has consistent and flexible transportation.
Can lift 50lbs
Excellent knife skills
Cooking experience
Moves quickly and efficiently in the kitchen
Non-native english speakers welcome! Must be able to use google translate to English and make an effort to communicate effectively in English.
Responsibilities:
Keeps dishes clean, clear and put away
Keeps clean all of facility (approx 800 sq ft), front and back of house as well as storage space
Tracks and notes when supplies are low
Keeps catering storage space and kits organized and stocked
TIME OFF RESTRICTIONS
- Avoid extended time off during high catering seasons:
- Spring Gala Season: May – June
- Fall Catering Season: September – October
- Holiday Season: November – December
Compensation
