Job description

Join our Gleaning Team.  Help feed the community!  Our Gleaning Program works with local farmers to harvest produce and deliver to local food banks, churches, agencies, etc. to be distributed to the residents of the community.  This position is part time, temporary, seasonal, from June through December 2024 working 20-25 hours per week.  The position will assist with planning, organizing, and implementing the collection of produce, data, and other activities.  This person will work in the fields, harvesting produce, boxing up the produce -- will be getting dirty.  Will work with the team to deliver to local food banks and food panties.  Willing to drive/willing to learn to drive a 16-foot refrigerated truck and also the van.  No commercial license needed.   Our insurance requires a clean driving record.  

Need to be knowledgeable with Outlook calendar, Word, Excel. etc.   

Deadline for applying is August 13, 2024.  Comprehensive is $18.00 per hour.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
